How potatoes can regulate your blood pressure

The French fries and chips made from potatoes are usually considered unhealthy. And there is a good reason behind it as well. All these processed food items can take a toll on your body, especially your heart.

However, if prepared properly, potatoes are very good for your heart. They are known for regulating the blood pressure as it balances the sodium levels. The idea is to bake them, mash them or either throw them in the salads rather than frying them.

The rich content of chlorogenic acids and anthocyanins aid the blood pressure regulation.
