With the New Year around the corner, expect some major changes. And this change is going to reflect on your food bills as well. The Food inflation is expected to be on the rise next year according to a research from Canada’s Food Price Report.
People who eat out, meanwhile, will have to pay extra next year compared to what they used to pay in 2017.
“Most of [the increase] will come from food service, which would make some consumers a bit vulnerable – particularly those who don’t cook or (who) eat out a lot. But if you are cooking and you rely mainly on grocery stores to get your food, you should be in good shape for 2018.” lead researcher Sylvain Charlebois said in an interview.
