We all have concepts about the food we eat. We have our own ways of filtering out the food items that are healthy for us and the ones which are not.
When we speak about Gluten-Free food items, it is often equated with a healthier alternative to the other food items around. But a new study has revealed that gluten-free food might not be beneficial for your health after all.
The study published in the Journal of Human Nutrition and Diabetics revealed this.
“GF [gluten-free] food is unlikely to offer healthier alternatives to regular foods, except for those who require a GF diet for medically diagnosed conditions, and it is associated with higher costs,” the study concluded.
