Having pizza for breakfast might sound ridiculous but according to Nutritionist Chelsey Amer, the so-called ‘junk food’ could be a better option that cereals to start your day.
“You may be surprised to find out that an average slice of pizza and a bowl of cereal with whole milk contain nearly the same amount of calories,” Chelsey Amer said.
Apart from this, Pizza has more protein which can keep you active throughout the morning.
“However, pizza packs a much larger protein punch, which will keep you full and boost satiety throughout the morning,” Amer added.
This, meanwhile, does not make Pizza the healthiest breakfast option out there, but in comparison to cereals, pizza does get the upper hand.
