The things we eat during the pregnancy period have a huge impact on the whole process of birth and even the baby. There are food items that you need to include in your diet and at the same time, there are food items that you should avoid at all costs.
Surprisingly enough, some fruits fall into the latter category and we are going to list them down below.
- Grapes: Grapes have heat producing properties which can have a bad impact on both the mother and the baby. It also has compounds that will create a hormonal imbalance.
- Pineapple: The fruit is packed with bromelain which can lead to softening of the cervix. This can lead to early labour.
- Papaya: Just like the case with Pineapple, Papaya is also known to induce early labour. In worst case scenarios, papayas can also lead to miscarriages.
