Wooden Cutting Boards: Are they safe?

Most of us use wooden cutting boards in your kitchen. But are they really safe? Well, the answer is a big ‘no’. According to scientists, it is not recommended to use the wood for cutting meat.

The bacteria can soak into the wood and this can result in many issues. Interestingly, an average cutting board has around 200% more faecal bacteria than the toilet seat. In simple words, your cutting board could be dirtier than your toilet seat. Let that fact sink in.

To avoid this, properly disinfect your cutting board and avoid using the cutting boards which are made out of wood.
