Fast-food chain Burger King is in the news once again and this time, for a cheeky reason. The chain has offered a part-time job to Prince Harry through Twitter and it has got the internet laughing.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had announced their decision to step back from the Royal Family last week
“The decision that I have made for my wife and I to step back is not one I made lightly. It was so many months of talks after so many years of challenges. And I know I haven’t always gotten it right, but as far as this goes, there really was no other option. What I want to make clear is, we’re not walking away, and we certainly aren’t walking away from you,” he noted in a statement.
The exit of Harry from the Royal Family broke the internet last week and Burger King was quick to pounce on the opportunity.
“If you’re looking for a job, we have a new crown for you,” the chain noted on their Twitter page.
The tweet proved to be an immediate hit and many other brands event followed. The most notable one was perhaps Budweiser Canada.
“Maybe he’d rather be second-in-line for the King of Beers,” they tweeted.
While the future of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is still not clear, the food brands out there seem to be having some fun with the whole incident.
