3 Food Items that you should not feed your pet dog

Most of us treat our pet dogs as family. And since we love them so much, we might also have a tendency to feed them whatever we are eating.

This habit, however, is not recommended. The digestive system of our beloved dogs is completely different when compared to our digestive system. Due to this, not all food items that we eat will sit well with them.

We will be listing down three such food items that you should not feed your dog.

  • Avocado: The presence of Persin in Avocados make it bad for our dogs although it is a healthy food for humans.
  • Chocolate: While a lot of dog owners are aware of this, the importance of not feeding chocolates to dogs cannot be stressed enough. It is highly toxic for dogs and should be avoided.
  • Garlic and Onions: The presence of thio-sulphates in these two food items can damage the red blood cells of our dogs.

Apart from these three, it is also recommended not to feed your dog grapes, Macadamia Nuts and Raisins as well.
