Why you should include food items with Zinc in your diet

Zinc is hands down one of the most overlooked micronutrients out there whenever we make diet plans. However, it is a habit that needs to change.

Zinc is one of those micronutrients that can help to boost your immunity and prevent infections. It is crucial for the normal development of our cells and a deficiency in Zinc can lead to immune dysfunctions.

If you want to include more Zinc in your diet, you can eat food items such as soybeans, cereals, raw oats, pulses and legumes are good sources of the same. Soybean, in particular, is rich and easily includable in the daily diets.

It should also be noted that our body only requires 10-12 mg of Zinc per day and consuming a lot more beyond this mark is not recommended.
